Viva pinata my new gaming addiction. The bright colours, catch tunes, adorably cute antics and challenging mechanics have me hooked on thie Xbox 360 game. So much so that I’m going to write some articles and how-to’s for the game.
Sadly I only get to play it on weekends when I’m home from college. I get a lot of time tothink about it though, and plan articles. Here’s the first one:

… so I quit it.
Certain friends of mine seem to think that using facebook is a substitute for face-to-face communication, telephones, text messages, Instant messengers or even email. They seem to think that by posting the details of their party on facebook that it’s going to get read by everybody, and that they don’t have to mention it next time they see you.
Do you have any idea how disheartening it is when the first thing you hear about a party is “Have you RSVPed yet?” or “Why didn’t you come?”.
“I needed you to RSVP for my birthday by today.”
“Your birthday? When is it? Where is it? Actually, did you send out an invite?”
“I posted it on facebook months ago.”
“Oh, well I wrote my RSVP in the sky on Thursday!”

I was inspired recently by a thread on Digital Point Forums about ‘What is Love’. Since it’s Valentine’s day, I figured that it would be an ideal day to post about what my experience of love is.
- Love is saying “I can’t stand the taste of your cigarettes. Here is a bottle of mouthwash.”
- Love is eating the same amount of garlic, chili and onions as each other, so neither of you will notice nor complain.
- Love is him telling you not to bother with the dishes
- Love is being happy just to breathe near each other
- Love is letting him play Fable while you darn his socks.
- Love is letting him sleep because you understand that he put so much effortinto the last thirty minutes.
- Love is finding roses on your widow and knowing exactly how they got there.
- Love is forgiving, and goes both ways.
- Love is not feeling alone when you’re apart.
- Love is talking about the past and looking forward to the future.
- Love is a singing heart.
- Love is satisfying your physical, emotional and mental needs.
- Love is sex with feeling.
- Love is knowing what you mean when the words don’t quite work.
- Love is wanting only to see them smile.
- Love is memorising a walkthrough and pretending that you suddenly have a ‘brilliant insight’ when they’re stuck.
- Love is not minding if he doesn’t love you back, but being confident that he does.
- Love is being told you’re cute when your hair is a mess.
- Love is being ready to give everything else up and run with it.
- Love is a lot of things.
- Love is like pain: you cannot explain it to someone who has never felt it.
- Love is…
… it just is.

I move into college tomorrow, and it’s very exciting. I hate having to make a post to say that I probably won’t mangage to make a post for a while, but I’m going to focus on my other two blogs so that they’ll still be active during this busy time.

I’ve always been the sort of girl that prides herself on having a special kind of quiet originality and sensibility. I don’t get angry at forgotten times or dates, and I tend not to get frustrated: I get practical.
So it came as something of a disappointment when my boyfriend pointed out that I was becoming more and more cliched all the time. So to combat this, I have made a list of all the stupid cliches I’ve made recently and how I plan to combat them. Read more…
