Welcome to my humble blog.

There’s lots of words here. Some of them mean something, and others don’t. Mostly, the words here will pertain to writing or things that I have written.

I (try) to write books. I do pretty well for a while and then life distracts me with something urgent. So by writing here hopefully a bi-weekly deadline will keep me semi-regular. There won’t always be pieces I’ve written from my novels, but often reflections on writing because I haven’t actually done any writing that week.

And I have a poem saved up to publish at one point. A really awful poem. Writen in teenage years when the world wasn’t fair and I was trying to experiment. Seriously, it’s so bad you will scream, run away and never return. ButI’ll only publish it once, when I want a laugh.

That ‘life’ that so often gets in the way is my Veterinary degree. I blog about that experience over at Nearly-Dr Ferox. Some weeks emergency work means that I just can’t sit down regularly to type, you know, with furry things dieing all over the place.

But I do my best and hope you have fun here.
